The Zinger - Dr Gaye Super-Shake Recipe - health shake with ginger, kiwi, apple, banana

Another Super-Shake recipe from our archives! For those doing the Dr Gaye Summer Cleanse here’s another combo to change up the morning shake a bit. The Zinger is great for those who love a ginger kick first thing in the morning. And for those of you who drink our Super-Shake regularly, you might like a little variation…


1 kiwi
1 apple (roughly chopped)
½ banana
1-2cm cube of ginger


  1. Follow the instructions on the package of the Super-Shake. Pour the shake contents into the blender.
  2. Scoop out the kiwi flesh and add to the blender along with apple, ½ banana and 1-2cm cube of ginger depending on how much zing you like (you can leave the skin on the ginger for extra goodness).
  3. Blend for 1 minute.
  4. Drink and enjoy the zing!
